Popular on Jumia: Samsung Galaxy A02 Review

Have you been to Jumia Nigeria recently? Precisely sometime in mid to late-March? If you don’t know what happened, you’re about to get the gist — Samsung Galaxy A02 was the best-selling product on Jumia. And if you’re already aware of this, well, this is why Nigerians bought the Galaxy A02 in jaw-dropping amounts.

Samsung Galaxy A02 is one of the latest Samsung smartphones in Nigeria. It was announced back in January 2021 and was released that same month.

Everyone knows Samsung is a well-known and widely crushed brand around the world; particularly in a place like Nigeria where the type of phone you hold affects the level of respect you’ll get. Thanks to the big boys around.

Anyway, I was on Jumia exactly on 20/03/2021 to see if I could find some really nice casual no-lace shoes to match my new, nicely sewn Guinea attire for a wedding I have coming up in a few weeks time. But I noticed something right on the first page: Samsung Galaxy A02 is the most popular product on Jumia.

Naturally, I became curious. What could this phone have that made Nigerians want it so bad?

One possible answer: It’s a Samsung phone. Yeah, I don’t really believe that’s everything to it.

Since I want to see the “fin-in” beneath the cocoa-yam stalk, I put on my detective hat and went out in search of information. And guess what? The Galaxy A02 has more than the Samsung brand name as its endowment.

See what I found below:
