The iPhone 11 Pro Max is the best of three devices that make up the iPhone 11 release. In earlier times, Apple has been reluctant to add the ‘pro’ tag to iPhones as they did in MacBooks and iPads. Instead, what we often get are ‘s’ and ‘plus’. But with the release of the iPhone 11, we got a pro and pro max. As seen on the MacBooks and iPads, ‘Pro’ signals better battery, better CPU and bigger size, it is not any different in the iPhone 11 smartphones as well. The iPhone 11 smartphones are upgrades to the iPhone 10 smartphones. Below is an overview of the iPhone 10s plus.
The iPhone Xs Max features a sleek unibody with the U-notch design incorporated with a 6.5” Super Retina HD OLED multi-touch display with a resolution of 2688 x 1242-pixel at 458 ppi.
Other features include iOS 12 (upgradable to iOS 13.3) as the operating software, Apple A12 Bionic (7 nm) as the SoC, Hexa-core (2×2.5 GHz Vortex + 4×1.6 GHz Tempest) CPU as the central processor and Apple GPU (4-core graphics) as the graphics processor. The 7MP SL 3D selfie cam is so damn cool but the 3174mAh battery isn’t all that impressive.
Also, it has a 64GB + 4GB RAM, 256GB + 4GB RAM and 512GB + 4GB RAM variants.
Released in 2018, the iPhone Xs Max was 2018’s Apple flagship device. The iPhone 11 Pro Max on the other hand was released in 2019 and so was 2019’s Apple flagship device. Surely, there must have been some significant upgrades over the time lapse. Check hem below.
We definitely can see some awesome differences and mouthwatering upgrades in the iPhone 11 Pro Max compared to the iPhone Xs Max. However, it still lacks many of the things craven for by Android users and this includes USB Type-C, fingerprint scanner, sd card support and a 3.5mm jack. However, all these issues have been solved in a little bit different ways which are somewhat not straightforward as seen on Android smartphones. I guess that’s what makes it an iPhone.
